Literacy Presentations
Six Online Literacy Presentations
Do you have questions about adult literacy and adult literacy education in Ontario?
Are you a literacy practitioner who is looking for way to share clear and easy-to-understand information about the work you do with stakeholders, partners, funders and friends of literacy?
Community Literacy of Ontario has created six online audio-visual presentations about literacy.
The presentations are informative, easy-to-access, free and they cover the following topics:
- What is literacy?
- Recognizing literacy
- Literacy and Basic Skills in Ontario
- Making referrals
- Literacy and employment
- Learner success stories
These six presentations appear below, just click on the presentation you would like to view.
The presentation will automatically launch in Adobe Presenter. There is nothing to download or install. However, you will need to have an updated version of Adobe Reader to access these presentations.
Most people already have Adobe Reader installed on their computer but if you need to upgrade your version of Adobe Reader just click on this link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/. Next, click on “download” and follow the system prompts. It takes approximately five minutes to install Adobe Reader and it is free. These presentations can be viewed using either a PC or a MAC, provided the latest version of Adobe is installed.
Just sit back and enjoy learning more about the exciting world of literacy!
