COMMUNITY LITERACY OF ONTARIO Evaluation Report CLO's Online Delivery of the National Foundational Training in Family Literacy (2005) August 3, 2005 In June 2005, Community Literacy of Ontario (CLO) completed its third delivery of the national Foundational Training in Family Literacy. This training was made possible thanks to the generous support of the National Literacy Secretariat (NLS). At this point, CLO has no plans to offer the training again. As part of the overall project to deliver this training, CLO committed to writing and distributing two newsletters celebrating family literacy partnerships. These newsletters were completed in January and May 2005 and are available on CLO’s website at www.nald.ca/PROVINCE/ONT/CLO/NEWSLET/archive.htm. They were also distributed in hard copy to all community-based literacy programs in Ontario and to umbrella, sectoral and regional literacy networks. Community Literacy of Ontario Community Literacy of Ontario is a provincial literacy network of community-based literacy agencies in Ontario. CLO serves and supports 100 Anglophone MTCU-funded community literacy agencies. Our office is located in Barrie, Ontario. For more information on CLO, please visit our website at: www.nald.ca/clo. |
